Order is the partner of Chaos, the other side of the coin.

Order is Smooth like a newly laid straight road, where Chaos is the rough field before the road was built.

Order is harmonious like the performance of a synchronised orchestra, where Chaos is like the cacophony of noises as each musician simultaneously tests and tunes their instruments.

Order is a pattern where Chaos is a lack of pattern.

Order is the foundation of development where Chaos is what is not yet understood.

Order is known, Chaos is not known.

Order is how we have learned to do things, Chaos is only the uncoordinated things.

Analogy:

A comparison between one thing and another, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification. "an analogy between the workings of nature and those of human societies"

  • a correspondence or partial similarity.

"the syndrome is called deep dysgraphia because of its analogy to deep dyslexia"

  • a thing which is comparable to something else in significant respects.

"works of art were seen as an analogy for works of nature"

Using analogy to interpret new and novel information:

  • Identify the properties of the new information
  • Recall existing information that most closely matches the properties of the new information:
  • Substitute new information for the recalled information in the context of the recalled information and other potentially useful contexts:
  • Run simulated thought experiments with the substituted information to compare properties and formulate an understanding of those properties, particularly noting the differences and similarities between the two bits of information.

I now have an understanding of the new information and a set of references to it resident in my memory.

Now that I am aware of its properties as an entity in itself, it has a name and a meaning, I can now intergrade the new information into future ideas.

When I receive new and novel information, I look to place that information in my memory. To understand the new information I need to place that information into my processing environment and to do that I find a context already understood that I can test the properties of the new information with. an existing example that shares the same contextual meaning within my existing understanding.

An analogy for the car driver:

Driving a car on the roads can be compared to navigating life, as both require skills and awareness to reach our desired destination safely and efficiently. Just as a driver must be alert to the road conditions and adjust their speed, steering and movements to avoid obstacles, in life we must be mindful of the challenges and changes in our environment and make adjustments to our actions and decisions to reach our goals. Additionally, just as a driver must have a clear understanding of their destination and the best route to get there, in life, it is important to have a clear sense of purpose and a plan to achieve it. In both scenarios, having good judgment, making informed decisions, and being able to adapt to unexpected circumstances are key to a successful journey.

Dealing with limited unknown people is not too demanding, it can be understood and managed nicely. By nicely I mean sustainably. In fact dealing with limited unknown people is should be  a "can't miss" opportunity to grow and develop.

Just as water can flow and be stored in various containers, energy can flow and be stored in various forms such as kinetic, potential, thermal, and chemical energy. Just as water can be transformed from a liquid to a gas through boiling, energy can be transformed from one form to another through processes such as combustion or charging a battery. Just as water is necessary for life, energy is necessary for maintaining and powering various systems and processes.

An analogy between a military style operation and a day in the office:

Just as a military operation requires careful planning and coordination among different units, a day in the office requires careful planning and coordination among different departments and employees. Just as a military operation assigns specific tasks to each member of the team, a day in the office assigns specific tasks and responsibilities to each employee. Just as a military operation relies on clear communication and following established procedures, a day in the office relies on clear communication and following established policies and protocols. Both a military operation and a day in the office require a high degree of organization, efficiency, and teamwork to be successful.

A zoom lens and emotional understanding:

Just as a camera zoom lens can change its focus and magnification to capture objects at different distances, our emotional understanding can change its focus and depth to understand and respond to emotions in different situations. Just as a camera zoom lens can reveal more detail and context in a scene as it zooms in, our emotional understanding can reveal more nuance and complexity in emotions as we gain more experience and insight. Just as a camera zoom lens can capture a wide angle view or a narrow, intimate view, our emotional understanding can encompass a broad range of emotions or focus in on a specific emotion in greater detail. In both cases, the ability to adjust and adapt the focus and magnification allows for a clearer and more complete understanding of the subject.

Sheeple:

People can be compared to sheep in the sense that both individuals and groups of people can sometimes follow others without questioning or critically thinking about their actions. Just as sheep tend to follow the lead sheep in a flock, people can be influenced by the opinions and actions of those around them, leading to conformist behavior. Additionally, just as sheep may blindly follow a shepherd, people may blindly follow a leader or authority figure, even if their decisions are not in their best interest. This tendency towards group conformity and obedience to authority can limit individuality and independent thought in both people and sheep.
