Procedure:

- Ask the students if they know what shapes are.
- Write the word "shapes" on the whiteboard.
- Shape recognition (10 minutes)
- Show the students the set of shape cards and ask them to identify each shape as you hold up one card at a time.
- Encourage the students to say the name of the shape and to listen to the sounds of the words.
- Repeat the activity several times, using different sets of shape cards each time.
- Shape labeling (15 minutes)
- Show the students the objects of different shapes and ask them to label each object with the name of the shape.
- Encourage the students to say the name of the shape and to listen to the sounds of the words as they label the objects.
- Repeat the activity several times, using different sets of objects each time.
- Closing (5 minutes)
- Summarize what the students learned during the lesson.
- Encourage the students to continue practicing shapes and to listen carefully to the sounds of words.
- Dismiss the students and thank them for their participation.
